DON'T WE LOVE A HALF-CENTURY SNATCH?! NO. But apparently, Mr. Marc Jacobs loves her! I have to admit, I love the photo, and the ad campaign, as well as the retouching. I wonder who Marc is going have for next season? I hope not Lil Kim, or dare I say it, the ill-na-na.

Comme des Vuitton: Luxe en Raw

So I was surprised when I found out that they are creating a pop-up store for three months starting in September in the lovely Tokyo! (Saving pennies now!) They will be offering six designer bags from Rei Kawakubo (of Comme) using the Vuitton signature pattern. Kawakubo approached Vuitton with the idea, and the heads of Vuitton were thrilled! According to the chief executive of Vuitton, Yves Carcelle, this would be a splendid way to celebrate LV's 30th anniversary in Japan. Apparently, Marc Jacobs is exciting about this partnership, saying "I find it wonderful to think that 30 years ago, this immense talent, someone who has inspired so many others, was inspired by Louis Vuitton." Well, if you can't afford Tokyo, then you can definitely afford Commes when they "comme" to H&M in November (I know that was a tacky joke).

Okay, firstly, this is the sexiest bag in the whole world! I want this, and I will have this bag in tote 24/7, and you won't tell me ANYTHING! This is the new and improved, Louis Vuitton Sac Plat, designed with Italian artist, Fabrizio Plessi. I love this bag, but this is not out yet, so right now, we can all have the digital copy for free!

We love Louis Vuitton, as you can tell by the knockoffs the Kikis and the girls with the Le', Te', La', before their names sport religiously (yes, and I didn't forget about the Beths, and the Abbys either). I am loving loving loving new Louis Vuitton Embossed Speedy Bags! These are going to be the must haves of the fall season! And when we go to Fashion Week, we shall photograph all the bags that the Nina Garcias, Anna Wintours, and even the Rachel Zoes of the world will be sporting. Thank you Marc Jacobs! (and another thanks to your boyfriend, for without a good lay, you will still be in that funk of doing those hats that I haven't forgiven you for last season.)
